APRIL IN TOKYO

Every year, April is a busy, but a pleasant month for philatelists in Tokyo.
Two major stamp exhibitions will be held in the month, namely; ''All Japan Stamp Exhibition'' (or Zen Nitten), from 20 to 22 at the Communication Museum (Teipark ), Ohtemachi,
and ''STAMPSHOW'', from 28 to 30 in the Metropolitan Industry Hall, Asakusa.

Zen Nitten will be sponsored and organized by the Japan Post, and we, JPS, will join as one of the supporting bodies. The exhibits in this event are mostly of the competition classes like our JAPEX in autumn.

STAMPSHOW is an annual event organized by JPS. This exhibition is more popular and amusing than JAPEX. While JAPEX is principally designated for competition exhibits, the exhibits in STAMPSHOW are more easily accessible; i.e., Open Class, Topical Stamps, and ''Enjoy Stamps'' exhibits.

So, we can enjoy philately in this month in a condensed schedule in Tokyo.
Why don't you join us in this month?
