[Note on the Stamps]
The stamps depict representative flowers and blossoms of each prefecture in Kanto together with the related scenery. Azaleas bloom in April and May. Tsutsujigaoka park is in Tatebayashi. Nikko day lily is at its best in June and July. Sunflower is a typical one in summer. Bush clover flowers from June to October and is appointed to be the flower of Mito City. Japan allspice blossoms in December, January, and February. The first issue of the series came out on 23 June 2004.
