[Note on the Stamps]

The stamps depict a part of "Asagao-kushizu-sugito" by Maruyama Oukyo (1733-1795), which has been a part of cedar door originally made for Meigan'in in Nagoya. The painting is in possession of Tokyo National Museum.
There are oval perforation at each side of the stamps and "metallic multi-image" on the background.
