(Small Notes for the issue)
The stamps depict three of "Fifty-three stations of the Tokaido Road (Hoeido edition)" by Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858), ukiyoe artist in the late Edo era. These are in possession of Hiraki Ukiyoe Museum. Fujisawa is in Kanagawa, Okitsu is in Shizuoka, and Chiryu is in Aichi.
