¥52 New Year's stamp and ¥52 + 3 New Year's semi postal stamp with lottery for 2015 depict Nakano clay doll "Shinshu-Nakano Tuchi ningyo no Hitsuji", a folk toy of Nagano prefecture in association with the year of the sheep. The origin of Nakano clay dolls dates back to Bunka-Bunsei period (1804-1830).
