(Small Notes for the Issue)
Megane-bashi Bridge and Maruyama Hendensho (transformaer substation) are
the reminiscence of the Shin'etsu railway line between Yokokawa and Karuizawa
stations. Megane-bashi Bridge is the greatest bridge built by brick in
Japan, which was made during the days of the Abt-system railway, Maruyama
Hendensho was built when the railroad was electrified.
