(Small Notes for the issue)

Internet Fair 2001 Japan (Inpaku) is one of the commemorative events to celebrate "the first year of the new millenium." Inpaku is an on-line exposition consisting of the pavilions for specific themes, which are constructed by the central and the local governments, private corporations, nonprofit organizations and individual participants. Japan Philatelic Society participates in the event as one of the chosen nonprofit organizations.

The pair of se-tenant stamps depict flying Japanese crane over the surging billows. This is the last commemorative stamps bearing the imprint "Ookurasho Insatsukyoku Seizou" at the sheet margin owing to the central government reform on 6 February 2001 Japan.
