[Note on the Stamps]
The se-tenant strip of four stamps depict the mountains and flowers of
Niigata (R678a-b), and Nagano (R678c-d). The tree mountains are Mt. Echigo-komagatake,
Mt. Nakanotake, and Mt. Hakkaisan. Mt. Asamayama is one of the representative
active volcano in Japan.
