The 61st National Athletic Meets were held in Hyogo on September 30 to October 10 in 2006 under the slogan " - Thank you - from the bottom of our hearts , from Hyogo".
The stamp depicts wild chrysanthemums and "Habatan". Wild chrysanthemum is the flower of Hyogo Prefecture. "Habatan" is the official mascot of this National Athletic Meets.
