(Small Notes for the issue)　　
The theme of the stamps is "Hyakunin-isshu (100 waka poems)", the designs are based on Japanese playing cards, so- called "Korin Karuta". Each poems are selected from the theme of Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter, and Love. 50 yen stamps depict the paintings of each poet.
Japanese Stamp Specialized Catalog (JSCA) & SAKURA Catalog numbers are adopted.
