(Small Notes for the issue)
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of His Majesty the Emperor Akihito's accession to the throne, three stamps and a souvenir sheet were issued. Each stamp depicts the "Houou" and "Kirin" from a chair called "Takamikura" used when the enthronement ceremony is held. On the sheet, "Yuki Sukichihou-fuzokuuta-byoubu",which is also used at the enthronement ceremony, is depicted.
