[Note on the Stamps]
The 65th National Afforestation Ceremony, the annual main event of the
campaign, was held on June 1st in Niigata. The stamps are issued to commemorate
this occasion, depicting trees that were planted at the ceremony, and trees
and flowers of Niigata Prefecture.
