(Small Notes for the Issue)

To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of Imperial Enthronement, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications issued two stamps and a souvenir sheet. The stamps (C1773-1774) depict the patterns of the costumes of Gagaku, Japanese court music. On the sheet margins, a part of "Nishiki-kachou," auspicious painting, is shown.
The souvenir sheet (C1775) depicts a phoenix and chrysanthemums, which are taken from "Nishiki-kachou," auspicious painting.
